The marriage institution is under vicious attack from the pit of hades, an attack on marriage is a subtle onslaught and destruction of the fiber of a society.

The marriage is said to be the very first institution created by God. The family makes a church. The family makes a society.  When marriages fail, the dynamics of the family alters, the church is affected, and the backbone of the society is disturbed.

God’s intended marriages to thrive and survive against all odds but the subtle wiles of the devil is to use different gimmicks to destroy the institution with valid reasons.

Mental, biological, financial, emotional and physical abuses are his strategies.

Before now, the devil used “unfruitfulness” in his subtle subterfuge to scatter marriages. In the absence of biological replicas, the strength of the marriage weakens until it scatters. No one understood that the devil was on a prowl but had hounded women society termed as barren.

The devil moved to financial stunts. His ploy was using economic reasons to disintegrate the family system and values.  Couples who should not live apart had to live apart in order to meet their financial obligations. Great opportunities and attractive enumerations outside where the family resides, good prospects abroad that makes one seemed stupid not to grab the opportunity is his scheme. He removes fortitude and replaces it with quest for wealth above the core values of family. Of course, it is seen as a blessing, progress, or providence.  In the process, few marriages were able to endure until the end.

 ABUSE was stratagem to destroy marriages. His tactic was to ensure one partner perpetrates his agenda through violence against the other. When physical assaults takes place, it is cogent reasons for separation or divorce.  Nobody wants to end up in the morgue from an abusive marriage.

Today, the devil has upped his game through his thirst for blood by using infidelity and jealousy. He manoeuvres his way through the emotions of his victims, craftily plots for one partner to be homicidal, the home is scattered and the children become orphans.

The love and reverence for God wanes. The society becomes corrupt because the dynamics of morals have prolapsed. Couples would presume living together or having children outside the sanctity of marriage is the best option without promising problems of marriage.
