JOE JACKSON the patriarch of the JACKSON family has died after battling cancer at the age of 89. He died at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Joseph Walter Jackson was born to Samuel Jackson who was a high school teacher and mother Crystal Lee King on July 26 in Fountain hill Arkansas. At the age of 12 his parents separated and he lived with his father in Oakland until he was 18 years old when he went to live with his mother in Indiana.

He married Katherine Scruse in November 5, 1949 they have 10 Children. Maureen Reilette “Rebbie” Jackie, Tito, Jermaine. Latoya, Marlon, Michael, Randy and Janet including Brandon who died at birth. He wanted so much to be a boxer but he found his niche with managing his children when he discovered their musical talent in 1965. He was the Manager of the Jackson 5 musical group until things fell apart and each opted for a solo career.  Joe Jackson and Kathrine separated after she discovered another woman had a child for him.

In June, he went into hospital for terminal cancer. He died in on 27 June 2018.
