Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has bagged the special distinction for thought leadership award from the Globe Hope Coalition (GHC) at the GHC’s annual award dinner in New York. She was recognizes for impact of her work in shaping global conversation bordering on feminism, race and North/South relations. Ms Francine Le Frak, the award-winning producer and philanthropist with CNN led political Anchor Wolf Blitzer presented her award.

The dinner was a tribute to leasers and Organizations that have reacted with Compassion and dignity to refugee crisis in different parts of the world. About 500 guests from different spheres, business, Government, Philosophy, Arts, Education and human rights attended.

Global Hope Coalition established in 2016 is a network of four not-for-profit foundations based in New York, Zurich and Hong Kong which aims to empower courageous ‘’everyday heroes’’ who stand up to terror, violence and intolerance and to recognize those whose efforts preserve our cultural heritage and build bridges across cultures .
