The Federal Road Safety Corps has embarked on EMBER MONTHS and sensitization campaign of the public to the causes of road accidents in a more pragmatic approach for efficiency. For more dynamic and result oriented, the motor park rallies began with FCT to enhance communication and reduce accident by 25% and fatality rate at 15% which is the Corps Corporate strategic goal. The Corps will soon flag off its end of year campaigns in all other states command.

“DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE’’ campaign has started in states like Lagos, Niger, Akwa Ibom and Abia. The campaign, which spanned a period of 11 years, has recorded amazing success. Unprecedented movement of vehicles usually characterizes EMBER MONTHS and drivers have the tendency to drink more which compelled the Corps to collaborate with some breweries.

The Corps is drawing partnership with NYSC members, Government and non –governmental Organizations.  The Corps is introducing Motor cade factor, which is a road show awareness campaign for drivers and road users.
