INDIGENOUS DOCTORS PERFORM FIRST BRAIN SURGERY IN KANO

INDIGENOUS DOCTORS PERFORM KANO’S FIRST BRAIN SURGERY

A milestone record was set in Kano by a team of Neurosurgeons led by Dr. Shu’aibu Sule Dambatta at the Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital, Ginginyu. Other members of the team who made history in the medical field in Kano were Dr. Atiju, Dr. Musa, Dr. Hassan and Dr. Musbahu who operated on the brain of Ali Illyasu who suffered a 26-year brain disorder after a fatal accident.

The patient had been to different places including somewhere where he was given an 11-month appointment but was taken in by this team of doctors when contacted at the shortest time. The patient was on his feet 24 hours after surgery. The patient was done free but the patient bought his prescribed drugs.

The patient who had sleeping difficulty in the past found comfort and consciousness after.

Kudos to these dedicated doctors.
