Mahendra Singh Gond is a teacher who has been sentenced to death by hanging for raping a 4-year-old girl so brutally that her intestine had to be realigned.

The rape incident occurred in June 30 2018 in Madhya Pradesh District of India.

After raping her, he dumped her body I a jungle presuming she was dead. However, a search by her family found her in agonizing injuries and was rushed to the hospital by the family. The injuries were so severe that she had to be airlifted to a hospital in Delhi where she was operated on to realign her intestines.

Gong was arrested within hours of the incident and convicted after the girl made statement after recovery.

Gong would be executed 5 am on March 2
