TOYOSI OGUNSEYE ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF WORLD EDITORS FORUM

Toyosi Ogunseye has been elected Vice-President of World Editors Forum a leading Network for Print and Digital Editors of Newspapers and News Organizations around the world. Toyosi had outstanding career at the Punch rising to become the 1st female Editor since its establishment in 1971.

Toyosi Ogunseye is head of BBC West Africa, one of the most respected Journalist on the continent. She is a graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Lagos and her career has spanned 15 years clinching over 30 awards which includes CNN MULTICHOICE AFRICAN JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR, NIGERIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE JOURNALISTS OF THE YEAR, and the DIAMOND AWARDS FOR MEDIA EXCELLENCE (DAME).

The World Editors Forum was established two decades ago and the 1st time its leadership would be from Asia and Africa.
