Ola Orekunrin Graduated from Hull York Medical School at the age of 21 to become one of the youngest Medical Doctors in United Kingdom.

She worked for a decade with National Health Service in United Kingdom. She is a Helicopter Pilot with certified training in Aviation Medicine and started the 1st air operated emergency medical services in Lagos, Nigeria, THE FLYING DOCTORS NIG LTD.

What birthed the scheme as a charity Organization was after the painful loss of a sister under tragic circumstances. She also wanted to have an improved health care system in Nigeria, which she incorporated and established in 2007.

She is of the firm believe that healthcare should not be left alone to Government but there should be a synergy between Government, Entrepreneurs and Private Investors.

The flying Doctors have a fleet of 20 Aircraft and more than 40 Doctors readily available that can offer best care to patients before they get to the hospital. They bring affordable and world class health services even to the remote part of the country.

Ola Orekunrin was born in London, she is a member of American Academy of Aesthetics Surgeons and the British Medical Association. She has won awards and was among the young Global leaders by World Economic Forum in 2013.
