He is the founder of Fountain of life Church in Lagos. He died on Monday 6th August 2023 at the United States of America after some undisclosed illness triggered by personal tragedies. The health challenges stared showing and knocked him, which prompted the overseas medical trips that he never recovered from. He was born in Kaduna on June 15, 1956. He started his primary Education at Baptist primary School and his Secondary Education at St. Paul’s College now Kufena College. He read Petroleum Engineering at the University of Ibadan and graduated in 1981.  It was in the university that he met his first wife, Bimbo Williams and got married in 1984. Both of them founded the Fountain of Life Church after he left Nigerian National petroleum Corporation NNPC. Their vision was to “teach men and women the art of building successful relationships and the principles of leadership so they can be who they were created to be’’.

The church expanded with several missions in United Kingdom, Kenya, South Africa, Switzerland, Equatorial Guinea, Benin Republic, Cote D’ivore, Togo and Benin Republic.

Tragedy befell him when he lost his wife to a plane crash in 2005. Bimbo died alongside 102 people on Sosoliso Flight 1145. They had three children together. Her death was shattering.

He found happiness again five years later when he married a South African Rosemary Simangele Zulu who died in November 9 2021. They had 2 boys. Her death was technical knockout. He lost his Twin sister that same year. The Nation described it as “personal, humbling tragedy. He would just gaze and seemed to become completely disinterested in things around him. It was unusual to become totally lost in conversations and issues. I believed something died in him at that point…’’

The nation described him as a man who believed in himself and the power of his intelligence. He was a man who took things easy and not moved by frivolities. All he wanted to do was to preach and do the work of God.
