National Grid has collapsed according to the news report from DAILYTRUST wich says Nigeria is currently witnessing an outage over the collapse of the National grid this early hours. This collapse is said to be coming a few weeks after the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) celebrated over a year of zero grid collapse. The Enugu Electricity Distribution (EEDC) said the collapse occurred around 12.40am which has resulted to the loss of supply currently being experienced across the network. Due to this, all the interface TCN stations are out of supply and so enable to provide service to customers in South East region. The power transmission dropped to 273 megawatts from two out of over 27 electricity generation.

This is the first time there would be a collapse under President Bola Tinubu and multiple times under President Muhammadu Buhari daily trust reports.
