Earlier today, i had the distinct of honour of receiving a father figure and a reform minded public servant, the Corps Marshal of Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria, Dauda Aliu Biu, a proud son of Zaria, Kaduna State. I would urge my constituents to thank him for the visit. In line with our traditions and values, i should be the one to have visited him. Nevertheless, i was highly honoured and genuinely humbled by his visit. May God reward him.

i have been impressed by his deliberated reforms to protect our highways. He was in the House of Representatives on a mire important assignment, but made the time to visit his son. may God bless him and his entire team, particularly his PRO Officer, Mr. Bisi Kazeem and the rest.

i used the opportunity to plead with the Corps Marshal about employing young men and women from my constituency to serve in FRSC. I assured him that if given the chance, i will setup an ad hoc committee and ensure the candidates are chosen in a transparent manner.

i finally assured the Corps marshal that i am an ally to the commission when it comes to innovative legislation that will strengthen the commission in carrying out its duties to serve our people. may god continue to protect and guide all of the public servants in Nigeria.
