The punch newspaper has reported that Godwin Esther has been arrested by the Police for allegedly pouring water on a woman called Endurance who she accused of having an affair with her husband. The incident happened in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State. The victim is currently at the hospital receiving treatment. The 39-year-old Esther who is a vendor was suspecting the victim with her husband and invited her to her shop to collect a keg of palm oil her husband owed her. It was in her shop that Esther attacked her with hot water. Endurance however denied having an affair with Esther’s husband explaining that she worked as laborer with Esther’s husband on the farm as she did for other farmer in the town.

Esther’s husband also denied having an affair with Endurance as he said he only engaged her as a laborer on his farm. The suspect has been charged to court.
