24-YEAR-OLD HOUSEWIFE KILLS STEPSON WITH INSECTICIDE
Furera Abubakar has been arrested for killing her four-day-old stepson with an insecticide in Bantu Village in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Furera entered her co-wife’s room with an insecticide called Gamalin, which she applied to the baby’s umbilical cord, which led to the child’s death.
The Public relations officer of the Bauchi State Police Command, Ahmed Wakili said investigation into the matter is on going after which the suspect would be profiled and charged to court.
The baby was born on August 15 and was killed on August 24, 2023.
