Tribune reports that some 500 level accounting students of Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTEC) Ogbomosho, Oyo State lost their lives in a fatal Motor accident while returning from an excursion to erin-Ijesha waterfall, Osun State.

The accident occurred on Wednesday evening while the bus conveying the students caught fire as they were returning from the waterfall around Ilobu-Okini-Oshogbo road.

The Osun State Command of the Federal Road safety Corps has however disclosed that three person died while five others sustained injuries in a lone accident that occurred on Oshogbo-Ilobu road on Wednesday. The Sector Commander CC Henry Benamaisia attributed the lone accident to speed limit violation and loss of control. He said eight persons were involved in the accident. The injured victims were taken to OsunState teaching Hospital, Oshogbo and Onward Hospital Okinni. He cautioned that motoring public should drive defensively and also plan their journey.
