Mrs. Amina Buwa, the daughter of Hon. Bukar Abacha, representing Ngala Local government of Borno state house of assembly was killed by unknown persons in Gidan Dembe, Maiduguri. The incident took place around 6.30pm on Tuesday when the husband was said to have left the compound to a nearby mosque for Isha prayers. The husband took the corpse to the police. He said he found her lifeless body in his house with her hand and legs tied behind her back while her two year-old child was crying beside her. The Police at the Gwange police division evacuated the corpse to the University of Maiduguri Teaching hospital for autopsy and investigation.

The incident has caused tension and pandemonium in the area and attracted large crowd of residents thronging the scene to catch a glimpse. The remains of the deceased would be buried today in Maiduguri.
