FOUR NSCDC OFFICERS KILLED IN RIVERS
Vanguard reports that four officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) died in an ambush by gunmen suspected to be sea pirates in Bakana Community of Rivers State. The incident as reported by someone in the commuinity who wanted to remain in anonymity happened on Friday. Two of the victims have already been buried according to muslim rites.
Vanguard reports that the spokesman of NSCDC in Rivers State DSC Olufemi Ayodele did not admit nor deny the killing but rather said that the command would issue a statement as more news unfold.
