DONT CALL ME HIS EXCELLENCY, MR. GOVERNOR AGAIN
The Governor of Niger sate Mohammed Umar Bago has announced his new title after saying he should not be addressed as Mr. Governor, Excellency or Honourable. The Governor said he preferred to be called FARMER GOVERNOR. He made this known during the presentation of 2024 budget to the state house of assembly. He said the name is to reinforce the priority of the government to agriculture.
He said ” I want to inform the people of Niger state that from today, my nomenclature has changed and i wish to be addressed as Farmer Governor Bago from now henceforth”
