72 year-old Isiaka Abdullahi a tractor driver was arraigned on Wednesday by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly damaging property worth N320m belonging to two Businessmen, Garba Mohammed and Adewale Teluwo in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

He was said to have driven his tractor to mile 13 Owode elede market to destroy Bananas and other property and goods belonging to the two Businessmen on December 1, 2022. The defendant pleaded not guilty at the Yaba Magistrate court after four count charges were read to him, which was that he and others now at large conspired to commit felony to wit, wilful damage to property and thereby committed an offence punishable under the law.

The goods damaged are N300m property for Adewale Teluwo and N20m for Garba Mohammed. Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun adjourned the case till November 20, 2023.
