NIGERIAN BREWERIES ANNOUNCES PRICE HIKE IN BEER
Nigerian Breweries announces new price in beer due to hardship caused by fuel hike. Daily post reports that in a letter signed on Tuesday by the sales Director Ayo Lawal that the increment was due to the rise in the cost of production. A new price would commence on August 10, 2023. The removal of fuel subsidy has contributed to the hike in transportation, goods and services nationwide.
According to the national Bureau of Statistics, there was 22.79% inflation figure in the month of June indicating the soaring prices of food.
